Marquita Evans

Marquita Evans is a seasoned professional with a dynamic career spanning over two decades in early childhood education and entrepreneurship. As the owner of A-List Nanny Services, Marquita has become a cornerstone of trusted child care in the greater Puget Sound area. Her extensive background includes certification in Early Childhood Education and a wealth of experience as a personal nanny for a diverse range of families throughout the Pacific Northwest. Marquita's reputation for being dedicated, punctual, responsible, and exceptionally fun has made her one of the most sought-after nannies in the region, with a clientele that includes high-profile names like the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Kraken, and Google.

Marquita's journey in early childhood education began with ten years spent working in preschools and as a nanny, laying a strong foundation for her later endeavors. Her passion for education and service led her to pursue a career as a Surgical Technologist, where she worked for a decade at a Center of Excellence. Following this, Marquita embraced the role of a full-time mom and entrepreneur, channeling her skills into various ventures.

In 2008, Marquita founded A-List Nanny Services, a testament to her commitment to high-quality child care. Her business acumen and personal attributes have made A-List Nanny Services a leading provider in the area.

Beyond her work in child care, Marquita has ventured into the wellness industry with the launch of Intentions Juice & Smoothie Bar in 2020. This initiative emerged from her desire to promote intentional health choices, evolving from a home-based project into a community staple. Intentions Juice & Smoothie Bar is expanding with new locations planned for Seattle and Downtown Tacoma.

Marquita’s entrepreneurial spirit extends to her role as a facilitator for the Pierce County Business Accelerator Program (PCBA) since 2023. She has provided invaluable business coaching and instruction to 26 small businesses, leveraging her extensive expertise in business licensing, LLC formation, personal credit education, and more.

Through her various enterprises and community involvement, Marquita Evans embodies her life mantra of being inspired to serve. Her dedication to helping others and her innovative approach to business and education continue to make a profound impact on her community.
